About Esjs on the Internet III (EotI3)

OK, even though I'm calling this an "FAQ", I really have not been asked these questions. I'm just anticipating for when I actually become an Internet phenomenon ;-) .

What is "Esjs"?

First of all, you are probably wondering what the heck Esjs means. Well, it's actually a scramble of my name, Jess.

You can learn a little more about me from my profile: EsjsEsjs

What happened to Esjs on the Internet I and II?

  • The original site, Esjs on the Internet (http://www.geocities.com/esjs.geo), was born at GeoCities (before Yahoo! took GeoCities over). I created it back in college, January of 1997. The Internet was still a young concept and the first of the Browser Wars was a hot topic. I learned a lot about HTML with the site. In 2009, Yahoo! decided to close GeoCities down.
  • Esjs on the Internet II: Attack of the Blog was originally created at Xanga.com, a free blogging site discovered by my wife. She convinced me to start my own blog after she had started her own. My renewed presence on the internet was ultimately sporadic. On February 16, 2015, I migrated from the no-longer-free Xanga site over to Wordpress.com.

So, what is this site about?

It is my new online home/playground/archive. I plan on publishing some of my creative works (mostly RPG and computer programming stuff). Who knows what else I might place here.

Can I become a member of your site and edit your pages?

Probably not! Sorry. Even though a wiki is supposed to be about community and collaboration, right now I'm a little possessive of the site. The only exceptions I'll probably make are for close family and friends… for the time being.
